Cotton By Yard grew from years of experience in textiles, manufacturing, and online retail.

Since 2016, we have been serving customers through marketplaces such as Etsy and Amazon. Working with customers from different parts of the world taught us what matters when buying textiles online — quality, reliable service, clear communication, and the ability to find products that fit individual needs.

Over time, we wanted to create something of our own: a brand where we could offer a more complete and personal experience, while bringing together our experience in cotton fabrics, textile manufacturing, and finished products.

That vision became Cotton By Yard.

Our Story

Cotton By Yard was created with a simple idea: make quality Indian textiles and manufacturing more accessible to customers and businesses around the world.

Our primary focus is cotton fabric, but our experience extends beyond fabric. We also manufacture women's dresses and tote bags, giving us hands-on knowledge of how fabrics are selected, printed, constructed, and transformed into finished products.

Our experience working directly with customers also showed us that standard products don't always meet every requirement. Many customers have their own designs, prints, colors, fabrics, or product ideas but find it difficult to have them produced.

That's where we wanted to make a difference.

Made in Jaipur, Rooted in Indian Craft

We are based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, a city renowned for its rich textile traditions and particularly its handblock printing heritage.

We work directly with Indian handblock printing artisans and value the skill, patience, and craftsmanship behind this traditional process.

Our relationship with artisans allows us to bring together traditional Indian techniques with the practical requirements of today's customers and businesses.

Every handmade textile carries subtle variations in print, color, and texture. To us, these details are part of what makes hand-crafted textiles distinctive and unique.

Our collection includes a variety of cotton textiles selected for different creative, apparel, accessory, and home projects.

Alongside fabrics, we manufacture women's dresses and tote bags, giving us experience from the fabric stage through to finished products.

This manufacturing background helps us understand not only how a fabric looks, but also how it behaves when it is cut, sewn, printed, finished, and turned into a final product.

One of the most important things we wanted to offer through Cotton By Yard is customization.

Customers shouldn't always have to choose from products that are already available.

Depending on the project, we can work with customers on requirements such as custom designs, prints, colors, fabric selections, product specifications, and finished-product development.

You can share your own artwork, design ideas, references, or product requirements with us, and our team can review the project and advise on what can be produced.

Whether you're developing a new clothing collection, creating a distinctive tote bag, sourcing custom fabric, or working on another textile project, we are open to discussing your ideas.

Wholesale & White Label Manufacturing

Our manufacturing experience also allows us to work with businesses, retailers, boutiques, designers, and brands looking for wholesale or private-label solutions.

We offer white-label manufacturing for qualifying products and can discuss requirements such as product specifications, custom designs, branding, labels, and packaging depending on the project.
